2. Eligibility to Use the Website

By using Vedam, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are using the website on behalf of another person, family member or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. Parents or legal guardians should supervise any use of the platform by minors.

3. Website Services

Vedam provides access to various devotional offerings, including but not limited to:

• Puja bookings and Seva bookings
• Temple-related devotional offerings and Sankalp services
• Prasad-related dispatch services
• Festival-specific Pujas, Anushthans, and special devotional services

The availability, description, price, date and other details of each offering are displayed on the relevant service page.

4. Puja & Seva Bookings

When you book a Puja or Seva through Vedam, you are responsible for providing accurate information required for the booking (devotee names, Gotra, date of birth, family details, and specific Sankalp prayers).

5. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered successfully placed only after payment has been successfully processed and confirmed by Vedam. You will receive a confirmation through WhatsApp, SMS, or email. An unsuccessful, incomplete or reversed payment attempt does not constitute a confirmed booking.

6. Pricing & Payments

Prices displayed on Vedam are applicable to the relevant offering at the time of booking. The final payable amount includes applicable taxes and delivery charges (where disclosed). Payments are processed through authorized payment gateways including Razorpay.

7. Payment Failure & Duplicate Payments

If a payment appears unsuccessful but your bank debits the amount, or if an amount is deducted more than once due to a technical error, please contact Vedam support with the transaction reference. Upon verification, any confirmed duplicate charge will be processed for refund.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the nature of the Puja or Seva. Certain devotional services involve arrangements that begin shortly after booking and therefore have limited or no cancellation eligibility once fulfilment has commenced. Please review the specific terms before booking.

9. Puja Performance & Fulfilment

Vedam coordinates with verified temples, certified priests, and religious institutions. Timing and location of performance may depend on temple customs, festival schedules, and Vedic tithis. Where physical Prasad is included, delivery is fulfilled through partner logistics.

10. Spiritual & Devotional Nature of Services

Vedam provides devotional and spiritual services for religious and faith-based purposes. Religious rituals are not intended to constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

No guaranteed worldly outcome: Vedam does not guarantee any particular financial, health, relationship, or legal outcome as a result of participating in a Puja or Seva.

11. User Responsibilities

Users must provide truthful information, respect the sanctity of the services, avoid fraudulent transactions, and not upload malicious code or copy Vedam content without permission.

12. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

13. Intellectual Property

All text, logos, branding, graphics, imagery, and software functionality are the intellectual property of Vedam and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

14. Third-Party Services

We utilize third-party vendors for payment processing, communications, hosting, and logistics, subject to their respective terms and service conditions.

15. Website Availability

We strive for uninterrupted platform availability, though temporary maintenance or downtime beyond our reasonable control may occasionally occur.

16. Service Changes & Cancellations by Vedam

In unforeseen circumstances (temple closures, extreme weather, government restrictions), Vedam may reschedule the service or process a full refund.

17. Limitation of Liability

Vedam will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in India.

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Vedam against claims arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the platform.

19. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how personal data is collected and protected.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Uttar Pradesh / New Delhi.

21. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute or grievance, devotees are requested to first contact Vedam customer support (Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM) for amicable resolution.

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Revisions become effective immediately upon posting with an updated date.
